Grass Outlaws 2027

Following on from the success of this year's half day dirt drags and grasskhana we're doing a full day for 2027, gates will open at 8am for registration and scrutineering, racing will start at 9am. We're improving a few things and implementing suggestions such as having a scoreboard to show quickest times throughout the day, moving the grasskhana to a smaller area and introducing two different courses, allowing pre-registrations (will be available closer to the time), and trophies for 4 different categories. Everyone said how much they enjoyed the drag knockouts so we'll be running that twice during the day, with winners from morning and afternoon battling out at the end of day to see who takes home the trophy. Because the first event was a test to see how well things worked, overall we were happy with everything BUT for the 2027 event we will putting one main rule in place .. the drag strip and grasskhana courses are for having fun on, anyone caught speeding, doing skids or just being an idiot on the return lanes, safety areas or carpark will be removed from the event immediately. Also there will be a cover charge this time of $20 per car racing (still cheap for a days entertainment) and $5 per passenger/spectator. Once again we'll have the awesome crew from Big B's Tucka doing the catering, coffee vans, and by request an Ice Cream truck (you'll like these guys they have "adult only" ice creams eg: the rum n raisin ice-cream has actual rum not flavouring 😉). As with all our events this is for Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Customs, Classic American, Aussie and British ONLY, NO japas, NO euros, NO daily drivers, NO exceptions.
