📍 German-Texan Heritage Society (507 East 10th Street, Austin, Texas)

🚗 Experience German Automotive Excellence!
The block in front of GTHS will be closed to showcase German cars, from classics to cutting-edge models by Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen.

Featured Vehicles Include:

🎟 Tickets: $10 online / $12 at the door (Children 12 and under FREE)
Proceeds support year-round children’s programs, including the German International School of Texas, and help fund the restoration of the German Free School historical staircase in partnership with the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division.

🕧 Raffle Drawing at 12:00 PM.

  • Music by The Walburg Boys inside the GTHS historical gardens.
  • Delicious German food and drinks from Hofbräu USA and Becker Vineyards.

Looking for some fun inspired by Texas German past and present? Look no further. The German-Texan Heritage Society (GTHS) located in the heart of the Red River Cultural District offers the most authentic German events in the Austin area. Yearound. Join us for OKTOBERFEST in the fall and get to know its Little Sister, MAIFEST, in the spring.  Come back in winter and enjoy some Glühwein and real German holiday cheer at our - CHRISTMAS MARKET. All events are held on the grounds of our historical German Free School. Wander back in time and experience live music, food, and Gemütlichkeit in our beautiful gardens. Gemütlichkeit, you ask? It’s a German word used to describe a state of belonging, warmth, and friendliness. Want to learn more German words? GTHS can help. We offer German language programs or both adults and children based on worldwide recognized standards set by the Goethe-Institut, Germany’s cultural institute.
