Rodeo Promotions NT in conjunction with “Dreaming Under the Stars” supporting Dolly’s Dream, are bringing a high intensity Bull riding and Barrel racing spectacular to Katherine. Some of Australia’s best Bull riders, Rodeo Bulls and Barrels Racers will be matched up to compete for record Northern Territory prize money that Katherine has never seen. The action-packed Katherine Bulls and Barrels will entertain with Open, Novice, Junior and Mini Bulls, Open, Novice and Junior Barrels for the whole family to enjoy. Junior and Novice Barrel Racers in the Slack section kicking off at 4pm, followed by the Main event at 6pm Top 6 Open Bull and Mini Bull riders will be Auctioned off in a Calcutta to compete in the shoot-out Bull ride. Stay around for the after party with one of Darwin’s top Rodeo bands “Stereobate” followed by DJ Sonix playing until 1am. Public entry through Front Main Gate, via Victoria Hwy. This is a fully catered event STRICTLY NO GLASS, STRICTLY NO BYO ALCOHOL Bring chairs or picnic rugs for general entry, and the bar's available from 4pm – 1am Children under the age of 16 MUST be always accompanied by an adult, as this is a licensed premises venue. VIP ticket holders are required to be 18 years old or over. Under 18 VIP children must be accompanied by a VIP adult. Included in your ticket price is access to the VIP area located at the end of the arena facing the chutes, providing a premium view of all the action. VIP catering by B’rad BBQ, bringing his low and slow Texas style BBQ also includes grazing & nibbles table, as well as drinks for duration of the Rodeo approx. 3 hours, RSA & Licensing laws apply.
